Yesterday Ffion and Gethin rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into weeding, helping to keep the gardens looking beautiful for everyone to enjoy. πͺπ±
It was a gorgeous day, but the heat certainly made it hard work! ππ₯΅ Thankfully, there were plenty of water breaks and lots of smiles along the way. A big thank you to our amazing volunteers for all their hard work and dedication. Every little bit helps the gardens continue to bloom! πΈπ
After a busy morning yesterday, we enjoyed a lovely free visit to Fferm Gelli Farm. π Christopher, Anthony, Gethin and Amy had a brilliant time feeding the goats, llamas, ponies and horses. ππ¦π΄ Gethin is definitely a horse whisperer β the horses absolutely loved him and were so calm around him! π΄β€οΈ
Ellie enjoyed sitting by the pond with a fresh salad and sweet strawberries. ππ₯πΏ She also loved taking a peaceful walk around the pond, enjoying the beautiful scenery. The facilities at the pond have improved massively, and we saw a few fish jumping and beautiful geese with their babies. π It was also the first time we had ever seen a foal feeding from its mum. What a special treat and such a lovely moment to witness! π΄π
Today we visited TARAGGAN Educational Gardens and what a beautiful day it was! The sunshine really lifted everyoneβs spirits ππ Our members worked incredibly hard, getting stuck into weeding one of the garden plots π±πͺ Itβs amazing to see the teamwork and dedication β everyone played their part and made a real difference π
