About Us

Anyone with a learning disability in Caerphilly Borough can be a member of Caerphilly People First.

We run monthly County Meetings where our more active members get together.

At the County Meetings representatives from across the county share news and opinions from the day service group they represent. We also have independent representatives that don’t use day services.

We often invite guest speakers to tell us about new things happening in the county or services we might use.

We elect members to take leading roles in the organisation.

The County Group makes most of the decisions about Caerphilly People First, however because we are a charity we need a management group to make sure we are working within our constitution and abiding by the law.

To help us achieve the work we want to do we pay people to work in our office.

Christy Taylor is our Adviser.

Stuart Clemo is our Administrator.
