Job Vacancies
We’d like to tell you about two new jobs which we are advertising. There are two vacancies available on our ‘Experts Through Experience’ project, one for a Project Worker (24 hours per week), and one for a Co-Worker (6 hours per week). Message from the Chair – Jamie Roberts
Over the past few weeks, Caerphilly People First members have shown the Adviser of Blaenau Gwent People First around the various day opportunities centres in Caerphilly. These include the work projects in Woodfieldside and Windy Ridge, and Springfield. The Adviser stated that she was very impressed with the opportunities that people with learning disabilities have in Caerphilly. We think this is great news—a person who works outside Caerphilly has seen the good work that goes on here in comparison with Blaenau Gwent .

Here is a new and different version of the Caerphilly People First logo. We made it using clay figures and a technique called stop-motion animation. E-newsletter Training
Following on from the website training we did on 19th July, last week we took part in training on how to send newsletters by email. Thanks to Angharad and James from Communities 2.0 for providing the training; we have one more session with them in a couple of weeks and we’re all looking forward to it!
