Last Thursday (7th June 2018) we were honoured to receive a visit from New Zealand People First. Caerphilly People First members began by talking about our organisation and the work we do, and this was followed by members talking about their personal experiences with Caerphilly People First. We then presented the people from New Zealand People First with Welsh souvenirs (rugby balls, mugs, Welsh cakes).
Also at our office to welcome New Zealand People First was Councillor David Poole, leader of Caerphilly County Borough Council, who also presented the visitors with a gift. New Zealand People First then gave their own presentation about their history and current activities, and their presentation was outstanding. We were then presented with a New Zealand rugby shirt, which we will have framed, and will hang in the office to remind us of this special day.
