Reconnect Through Music – What a Day!

We had an absolutely brilliant session yesterday, with an incredible 27 songs performed! 🎤💫 The energy was amazing from start to finish

It was so lovely to see Matilda again, who wowed us with songs from The Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ and K-Pop Demon Hunters 🎶🔥. Sean brought the vibes with Tears for Fears 🎹, while Susan had everyone singing along to Living Next Door to Alice 🚪🎵.

We loved the duet from Ffion & Amy singing Olly Murs 💕🎤, and Chris gave us a fantastic It’s Not Unusual 🕺. Anthony performed Hopelessly Devoted to You ❤️, and Christine got the whole room moving with Shut Up and Dance 💃🕺 (and yes… many people DID dance!).

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their amazing talents 🌟👏 — you made the session so special. The hall was packed (big thanks to Pete for setting everything up 🙌), and the delicious pizza 🍕 prepared by Christy & Zoe was a big hit!

Reconnect Through Music Session ☀️🎶

Today’s Reconnect Through Music session was a fantastic success, with a brilliant turnout on a beautiful sunny day 🌞. The room was full, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere as everyone came together to enjoy over 20 amazing performances from our talented members 🎤✨.

We kicked off the session in style with Ellysia performing Dancing Queen by ABBA 💃, instantly getting everyone in the mood. Anthony kept the energy high with Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson 🎶, followed by Sean’s great rendition of Oh Julie by Shakin’ Stevens 🎤. Amy delivered a powerful performance of Undo by Sanna Nielsen 🌟, and Kelvin brought plenty of charm with Living Doll by Cliff Richard 🎸. Alongside these, there were many other wonderful performances that kept the room buzzing throughout.

It was brilliant to see so many smiling faces 😊, with members singing along, dancing 💃🕺, and really enjoying the session together. The atmosphere was, as always, warm, inclusive, and full of positivity. We were also delighted to welcome two new members, Benjamin and Callum 👋—it was great to have you join us!

A big thank you goes to Pete for setting everything up 🎛️, and to Christy, Cheryl, and Helen for preparing a lovely lunch 🍽️. Most importantly, thank you to all our members who continue to make each session so memorable 💙.

Reconnect Through Music – Today’s Session

We had a fantastic time at this morning’s Reconnect Through Music session! Our members were in great voice and together sang an amazing 25 songs, matching the beautiful sunshine outside. 🌞🎤 We heard favourites both old and new, and every performance was wonderful. Here are just a few of today’s highlights:

🎵 Theresa gave us a lovely version of Eternal Flame by The Bangles
🎵 Anthony sang Against All Odds by Phil Collins

🎵 Morgan and Mandy performed a brilliant duet of Seasons in the Sun by Westlife

We truly loved every single performance – thank you to everyone who sang and supported each other. 💙 A big thank you as well to Christy, Cheryl and Zoe for preparing our delicious pizza lunch 🍕 and to Pete for setting up the hall ready for the session. It was also wonderful to welcome two new members to their first session — a big welcome to Robbie and Joe! 👋 We hope you enjoyed your first Reconnect Through Music experience.

Today’s Reconnect Through Music session was full of energy, joy, and festive spirit! With 22 fantastic performances, members showcased a brilliant range of songs — from heartfelt ballads to upbeat Christmas classics. The hall looked magical thanks to the Christmas decorations 🎄✨, creating the perfect atmosphere for a fun and welcoming afternoon.

Last week’s Reconnect Through Music session was an amazing celebration of talent and community! 🌟 Everyone came together to enjoy a day of music, dancing, and delicious food. 🥪💃🕺

🎶 We were treated to so many incredible performances from our talented members:
🎤 Matilda wowed us with “Lose Yourself” by Justin Bieber
💖 Adrian charmed everyone with “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley
🎵 Elizabeth got everyone moving to “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake
💃 Ellysia delivered a soulful rendition of “Waterfalls” by TLC
🌟 Josh brought energy with “Golden” by K-pop Demon Hunters
🎶 And Rebecca inspired us with “I’m Alive” by Celine Dion

✨ There were also other fantastic performances that showed off the wonderful range of talent in our group. It was heartwarming to see members share their talents with pride. 🌟❤️

A huge thank you 👏 to Cheryl, Zoe, Helen, and Sharon for making sure everything ran smoothly in the hall and the kitchen (preparing a delicious lunch of ham and cheese rolls). 🍳☕ Their hard work helped keep the event relaxed and enjoyable for everyone 🥪.

This session was a beautiful reminder of the power of music to bring people together, boost confidence, and create lasting memories. 💖🎵 We can’t wait for the next Reconnect Through Music event! 🥳🎶

What an amazing session today – our members truly reached for the stars! ⭐✨
🎤 Ffion and Nat kicked things off with a fab duet of S Club 7’s “Reach for the Stars” 💫
🎶 Ava brought the energy with “Freedom” by Wham! 🕺
🎤 Susan wowed us with “My Girl” by The Temptations 💕
🎶 Elizabeth sang a sweet version of “Sweet Caroline” (so good! so good! 🎵)
🌏 Shaun got everyone moving with “Down Under” by Men at Work!
🎵 With 28 incredible performances, our session was full of joy, laughter, clapping, dancing, and singalongs! 🥳🎉🪩
🥪🍰 We also enjoyed a lovely buffet – big thanks to Cheryl and Helen for keeping us fed and happy, and to Sian for doing the register with a smile! 😊🧡
