At the moment Ffion Bethell and Colin Hills are the Ambulance Community Champions for the Ambulance Service. They train members on when to ring 999 and when not to ring 999. Gwent Charter Checkers 2018
Sharon and Ffion are proud to have become Charter Checkers, and enjoyed our first meeting with the group at Cwmbran Library. Charter Checkers are able to go around different community groups to see if they are doing the right work on what the Gwent Charter says.

Recently Caerphilly People First was honored to be visited by Councillor David Poole, leader of Caerphilly County Borough Council. Staff and members talked to Councillor Poole about the history of Caerphilly People First, the work we’re currently doing and plans for the future.
Leadership Course 2017-2018
From November 2017 until January 2018, five members of Caerphilly People First – Ffion Bethell, Sharon Cochrane, Amy Jones,Michelle Manning and Kath Toms – attended a leadership course run by Katrina Kurowski.
