🧘‍♀️💜 YOGA, GIGGLES & A LITTLE BIT OF MAGIC! ✨🌿

It was absolutely lovely to have Lisa back with us yesterday for another fantastic yoga session! 🥰🧘‍♂️ Our members enjoyed a wonderful mix of stretching, balancing and using the yoga blocks to help develop coordination, concentration and cognitive skills. 🧠🧱⚖️ We even had story time to help everyone relax, with soft Northern Lights adding a beautiful, calming atmosphere 🌌💜✨

There were plenty of giggles as always because, at Caerphilly People First, we believe wellness should come with a big smile and a good laugh! 😂💚 💖 Yoga gives our members so much more than a stretch! It helps to:

🌿 Improve balance, flexibility and coordination.
🧠 Support concentration and cognitive skills.
😌 Reduce stress and promote relaxation.
💪 Build confidence and encourage independence.
🤗 Bring people together, build friendships and reduce loneliness.
💜 Support positive mental health and overall wellbeing.

Seeing our members relax, have fun and enjoy time together is what it’s all about. Everyone can take part at their own pace, in a welcoming and supportive environment where there’s no pressure to be perfect — just be yourself! 🥰🌈 A huge thank you to Lisa for another brilliant session. We can’t wait to see you all next week for our 🎃👻 HALLOWEEN-THEMED YOGA SESSION! 🎃🕷️ We wonder if we’ll be doing downward-facing dogs or downward-facing ghosts! 👻🐶😂

🎭😂 WHAT A DRAMA-LLAMA OF A DAY! 🤣🎬

A huge thank you to ITS Theatre Company for a fantastic drama workshop on Friday! ❤️👏 We had so much fun, and our members were absolute superstars! 🌟 From freeze frames 🥶 to acting out scenarios and creating our own short stories, we certainly brought the drama! 🎭😂

👶 A baby being born (hopefully the drama wasn’t too much for the midwife! 😂)
🦷 A trip to the dentist (say AHHHH! 😬)
🌱 Jack and the Beanstalk (someone needs to keep an eye on those beans! 🫘😂)
🧙‍♂️ The Wizard of Oz (we’re off to see the wizard!)
🐺 Little Red Riding Hood (our wolf definitely deserves an Oscar! 🏆🐺)

Everyone did amazingly, playing their parts, using their imaginations, and getting involved. We laughed, we acted, and we may have discovered a few future Hollywood stars! 🌟🎬😂 A massive thank you to Liam at ITS Theatre Company for making it such a brilliant session. ❤️🙌 🤞 Fingers crossed we get to work together again in the future, because we’re ready for our next big performance! 🎭✨ Caerphilly People First — watch out, Hollywood, here we come! 😂
